1. Anyone Can Claim Their Oils to Be “Therapeutic Grade” . . .
But Only Young Living Can Claim “Young Living Therapeutic Grade™”

The term, “Therapeutic Grade,” applied to essential oils was originally coined and defined by Gary Young and Young Living. Years ago some aromatherapists and competing companies criticized Young Living for using this term saying, “There is no such term.” They were right in that no government or regulatory agency had defined the term, but Gary and Young Living did define it. You can use any word or term you like so long as you define what you mean by it.
You will find “Therapeutic Grade” defined, not only in Young Living literature, but also in CARE Publications such as “Statistical Validation of Raindrop Technique,” “Healing Oils of the Bible,” and “The Chemistry of Essential Oils Made Simple.” Since Young Living adopted the term and defined it, after first criticizing Young Living for using it, many companies are now using it for their own oils without defining what they mean by the word, thus implying that their oils are “just as good as Young Living’s oils.” That is why Young Living has modified and Trade Marked the statement that YL oils are “Young Living Therapeutic Grade Oils™” No one but Young Living can use that phrase to describe their essential oils.
Whereas meeting standards like those of the French AFNOR (Association Francaise de Normalization) or the ISO (International Standards Organization), ISO and AFNOR only consider whether an oil has sufficient percents of the main compounds to legally claim it to be the species on the label. For example, if an oil contains enough menthol, you can legally sell it as “peppermint” when, in fact, there may be no actual peppermint plant oil present whatsoever. Hence, an aromatic oil can be 80-100% synthetic and meet AFNOR/ISO standards. AFNOR/ISO only takes into account the end product by testing for the percents of a few compounds that account for flavor and/or aroma. These standards do not take into account the manner by which the oil was obtained nor whether any of the healing compounds are present. In fact, the compounds responsible for healing can all be absent and an oil can still meet AFNOR/ISO standards, which may be adequate for perfumes and flavors, but totally ineffective for healing.
By contrast, Young Living’s “Therapeutic Grade” standard takes into account everything from planting the seed to marketing the oil. With Young Living, “Therapeutic Grade” means there has been verification of the correct species when the seed was planted, the purity and manner of cultivation (no chemicals or nearby pollution, etc.), the proper time of harvest to optimize the healing properties in the oil, the proper manner of distillation to capture all of the therapeutic compounds, the right chemical composition as determined by sophisticated laboratory tests, and the purity of the packaging–i.e. nothing added, nothing taken away, stored in light-protected containers (amber or blue bottles) of glass, ceramic, Teflon, or stainless steel, and kept in a suitable environment of appropriate temperatures. All of this is taken into account with Young Living’s definition of “Therapeutic Grade.” No other company maintains or can claim such a standard, even though they may use the word.
When people come to you saying they have found “cheaper oils that are just as good,” ask if they know how the plants were grown, cultivated, harvested, distilled, tested, and packaged and if a true “therapeutic” standard was held and maintained throughout the process. You won’t find another company that maintains such meticulous standards from “seed to seal” as does Young Living. Gary Young and Young Living stand alone in the world of essential oils in measuring up to such standards. You can visit the Young Living farms, distilleries, laboratories, and packaging facilities to verify these standards for yourself. Anyone can. Is this possible with any other company?

There are so many competing essential oil companies these days, as Young Living Distributors you need to know how to explain to people how Young Living oils are different than any other brand and have superior attributes that no other brand can rightfully claim. Factors that Make YL Oils a Cut Above All Others
The process Young Living uses when planting, cultivating, harvesting, and distilling a batch of oil is crucial to retaining its vital compounds. Without the exact blend of naturally-occurring plant chemicals, an essential oil can lose its beneficial properties and fail to produce the desired effect.
Young Living Therapeutic Grade (YLTG) means that every essential oil Young Living distills or sources has the optimal naturally-occurring blend of constituents to maximize the desired effect. 1. PLANTS

To meet Young Living Therapeutic Grade distillation standards proper temperature must be maintained throughout the distillation process, and pressure, length of time, equipment, and batch size are strictly monitored.
3. PURITY
Young Living Therapeutic Grade standards prohibit the acceptance of any diluted, cut or adulterated oils. Every product Young Living produces—essential oils, oil blends, nutritional supplements, or personal care—meets strict purity standards.
Every batch of essential oils is subjected to rigorous, state-of-the-art analysis at the Young Living chemistry lab. Using some of the most advanced equipment in the world, our scientists subject every batch of essential oils to Gas Chromatograph and Mass Spectrometer testing, and heavy metals analysis. Oils that exhibit even the slightest hint of possible adulteration or tampering are rejected.
4. POTENCY
The culmination of the preceding three stages, Potency means that the naturally occurring compounds contained in each essential oil product are of the highest and most consistent bioactive levels. Without strict adherence to the Young Living Therapeutic Grade standard in the Plant, Preparation, and Purity phases, the final product would not have the necessary potency to create the desired effect.

2. A Daniel Generation

The Lord has been speaking to me about raising up a Daniel generation. Of course, most of us know the story of Daniel and his life as told in the Old Testament, but what was God really showing me today?
I wasn’t sure what that was EXACTLY, so I started really studying Daniel and his personal journey. The thing that stood out to me the most was Daniel refused to SUBMIT TO THE CULTURE OF THAT DAY! We, today are fighting the culture of this world ourselves, in modern times. There are many cultures spoken about that we must “hold the line” for our Christian standards: media, fashion, politics, education, purity… to name a few… but after thinking about it more I rarely see a move of fighting culture in the area of FOOD and MEDICINE, specifically PHARMAKIA.
PHARMAKIA AND SORCERY
The Greek word “pharmakia” literally means “drugs”, and appears five times in the New Testament: in Gal 5:20, Rev 9:21, 18:23, 21:8, and 22:15. “Pharmakia” is translated into our English Bible as either “witchcraft” or “sorceries”. We also get our English word “pharmacy” from the Greek word “pharmakia.
Daniel refused to eat like the people of Babylon in the King’s courts. (Daniel 1:8) Most exiled peoples would adopt foreign customs, believing they were in a new land, and therefore a new god. As a matter of fact Daniel refused the King’s Food. We live in a culture of processed and fast food. We live in a place were we live to eat instead of eating to live.
We as humans build cells for our body to survive moment to moment, and the old saying is actually true, “You are what you eat.” Just like building a real house, if the brick guy decided for a day or even an HOUR he would just build with styrofoam instead of brick…it may only be a section of a wall but that house will have problems in the future! A few days of taking a break from good diet matters to your body! Even a few hours. We need nourishment tools and materials to properly build!
Sadly, most of us build this “house” or “tabernacle” with chemicals, additives, pesticides, soda, coffee, carcinogens, pharmakia and processed prepackaged food. Most processed foods we eat and soap/shampoos we use contain everything from anti freeze, gmo’s (genetically modified), mercury and more and then we wonder why God cannot move through us. We pop pills for this and that and that and this! We are a cess pool.
We damage our bodies daily and then pray and ask God to heal us over and over. We wait on Him and He, frankly, is waiting on US to actually work with Him instead of resisting Him with every swallow. We want to hear God, move in miracles and have dreams and visions….through what? Filtered through all of this?
I Corinthians 6:19 “Do you not know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit, who is in you, whom you have received from God? You are not your own!”
2 Corinthians 6:14,16 “Be ye not unequally yoked together with unbelievers: for what fellowship hath righteousness with unrighteousness? and what communion hath light with darkness? . . . And what agreement hath the temple of God with idols? for ye are the temple of the living God; as God hath said, I will dwell in them, and walk in them; and I will be their God, and they shall be my people.”
We have allowed darkness and light to live together within the temple. We have idols of food, chemicals, MSG and pharmakia. God wants to dwell in us and work with us, but cannot move in a defiled temple. We have to figure out what DEFILED means to Him. We may be surprised to see that it may not mean the same to us.
SHASHA GOES TO THE VET
Recently, my dog, Shasha, had a stroke because of a heart worm pill. She is only 2.5 years old: a gorgeous, strong German Shepherd. I brought her in to the vet. She could barely stand. She wasn’t eating and had total paralysis on one side of her. Her face and body were completely paralyzed. They concluded it was the medicine.
They wanted to take blood and check her kidneys and liver. I sat outside and waited. When it was over after, I took her home and she seemed worse. Her every breath was shallow. One eye would often roll back in her heard and it was completely dilated. You could not see the brown or white color of her eye. She wouldn’t walk, eat anything. That wasn’t my puppy!
I took her back in the next day and told the vet what was going on. Her response was, “Well, maybe it was the shot we gave her yesterday, or the steroid or the ..bla bla bla…” I didn’t even know what all they had done to her! They suggested doing more tests and more medicine. I was over it! I said, “Wait a minute, you want to charge me today, to figure out what you did wrong yesterday, to figure out what you did the day before? No way lady!” I took her home.
I found out a name of a Naturopathic Vet and she instructed me to give her Essential Oils Raindrops Therapy daily on her spine, to put frankincense on her foot pads, Juva Power in her food if she would eat, (to clear out the medicine in her body) and NingXia Red in her water (a mixture of essential oils and wolfberry juice.)
Within one treatment she was getting better. After two she not only stood and ate but was walking. Her eye was no longer dilated and by day three she was eating with barely any paralysis.
She is on the road to recovery but it was my ignorance to even QUESTION what a DR. would give my dog that caused this. I submitted to the norm, the standard of today. I went with the “white coat.”
DOCTORS DO DOUBLE MASECTOMY TO PREVENT BREAST CANCER
We recently worked with a woman seeking help for cancer. Someone on our team helped her understand about essential oils so she started using frankincense and orange oil for breast cancer.
She had tumors within one breast but the doctors were suggesting a double mastectomy? By the time she got to her MD Anderson appointment for her final check pre-op, they could find NO trace of tumors or cancer!
They questioned her as to how his could be possible? She explained her protocol with the oils and diet. They shook their heads in disbelief.
One doctor after another went in trying to talk her into having the surgery ANYWAY to “avoid her being back next year with a reoccurrence” They explained that they didn’t really understand the “oils situation” but knew that surgery would correct and avoid any future problems. They intimidated her to the point that she gave in and HAD A DOUBLE MASTECTOMY for no reason!
These are real stories that just happened this month!.
MY RECENT EXPERIENCE WITH BLACK MOLD
I myself just went through a round of doctors trying to find out what’s up with my not feeling as well as I should be. They just sent me to one after another saying it had to be something going on with my liver.
It wasn’t until I was in Ecuador in June of this year (2011) that I talked to a man named Gary Young who happens to be an ND (Naturopathic Doctor). I explained my symptoms etc., and he offered to take a look at my blood in the clinic. He found Toxic Black Mold in my body and blood. I was covered in it.
They feel it had to have been there for several years because of the extent of growth and infection and that it could ultimately have caused organ failure. We live in Louisiana and we did go through Katrina with a lot of water and dampness followed by a lot of mold. Apparently, most doctors in the states misdiagnose toxic black mold for cancer and treat with Chemo!
The hospital there in Ecuador gave me Frankincense IVs and Thieves IV’s. This was a liver over-haul cleanse and a detox for my organs and blood. I am safely back home now (July 2011) doing “my thing” teaching and training!
It is taking time to regain strength but looking back, I am thinking “WOW, if I had not been in Ecuador with Gary Young, how long would have it been before doctors would have found it? If they ever would have found it at all, or found it in time?
Diet for me made it worse, sugar and anything white will feed mold. These foods also feed cancer. The hospital there in Ecuador gave us all organic mostly raw food and juiced food along with EDUCATION on what foods and why it was important! It was biblically based, too…go figure.
This has changed everything for me and my family. I am looking at my life so differently now. No matter how many prophetic words I have or what the call on my life is…if I work against God it just will not work. Words and calls are conditional to your behavior…your choices…your will.
MEETING WILL
A couple years ago The Lord kept speaking to me about meeting “Will.” I thought this was the name of a person I was to meet. I finally realized it was “His Will” that he wanted me to meet. This is the time we truly need to find out what His will is for us and start shooting for that in EVERY SINGLE WAY. We need to fight for HIS culture.
I must not try to fit the patterns of a culture into my image of God, but rather I should try to submit to the patterns of God within a culture, just as Daniel did. This is a time to really seek Him out in EVERY area including what we place within and upon our bodies, our homes and our environment. When we do that, we will be pure vessels clear and free! We will be in a much better position to hear, see, feel, understand and interpret the frequency of heaven, allowing us to truly step in to the fullness of who we are and what we are supposed to be doing!
DANIEL’S GOVERNMENT WITH HEAVEN & EARTH
When you walk in the anointing as Daniel did, you get the keys to Government! When Daniel devoted his life to God’s culture of eating/consumption/lifestyle/prayer, and not the culture of even the KING of his day, things started to really happen. He could not only interpret dreams but he KNEW the dream without being told! GOD GAVE HIM MYSTERIES AND SECRETS!
God allowed Daniel to shift things in heaven and earth by his presence, prayer and choices to eat Gods way. God gave him authority! Arch angels were sent to fight for him on his behalf because God knew this guy is for REAL! He really wants to work with me! Daniel wasn’t playing games! He gained the favor of Heaven and even the government of his day by standing up and not compromising to the culture.
