CARE Seminar (1 or 2 Days)
What is an Intensive?
Certified CARE Instructors teach a seminar called the Basic Set or CARE Seminar. This is typically a 2-day training in Raindrop and Vitaflex - 12 hours in the theory and practical applications of essential oils, as well as 12 hours of continuing education for massage therapists, body workers, physical therapists, and other professionals. Many instructors also add the Oils of the Bible class to this seminar, making it 14 hours.

Participants completing the training will:
- Understand the Fundamentals of Aromatherapy
- Learn to Apply Useful Skills in Vitaflex
- Learn to do Raindrop Technique
CONTINUING EDUCATION CREDIT
The Center for Aromatherapy Research and Education (CARE) is approved by the National Certification Board for Therapeutic Massage and Bodywork (NCBTMB) as a Continuing Education Approved Provider. This Intensive is worth 12 or 14 CE-hours of credit through NCBTMB. The 12 or 14 Hours of Credit for this intensive are the first steps toward becoming a Certified Raindrop Technique Specialist (CRTS) through the Natural Therapies Certification Board (NTCB). Completing this seminar is also the first and basic set of requirements toward becoming a Certified CARE Instructor (CCI), should you wish to pursue a teaching career with CARE. There is an additional 11 hours of CARE class time required in order to move forward with these certifications, which would include Chemistry and Emotional Release.

LIMITATIONS OF CLASS SIZE
Registrations for Raindrop and Vitaflex are limited to keep class sizes small for better hands-on attention and training. The number of participants for Raindrop and Vitaflex is limited to 10 people per CARE Instructor.
As for Oils of the Bible, it is a demonstration/lecture class and there are no limitations on class size beyond the seating capacity of the room.
PRE-REQUISITES
CARE Vitaflex is required before taking Raindrop.
Note: Vitaflex is offered as part of this seminar prior to Raindrop. Raindrop will be given in two separate sessions. It is required that you attend both sessions to receive a certificate of completion.

Refunds and deposits are at the discretion of your Certified CARE Instructor. Please contact your instructor directly for their policies.
WHAT IS INCLUDED:
Class notes, necessary oils, handouts, and certificates acknowledging your participation in the course or courses taken are all included in seminar fees.
WHAT TO BRING:
Bring two (2) sheets, two (2) bath towels, and one (1) hand towel. If you would be willing to bring a massage table, please mention this when you register. You are encouraged also to bring your Bible for the Oils of the Bible class.
PREPARATION:
It is a good idea to purchase the CARE DVDs/Videos on Raindrop and Vitaflex to review ahead of class in preparation for the hands-on training. Ask your CARE Instructor if they have these available for purchase. You may also find these in CARE’s online bookstore at RaindropTraining.com. Your fingernails must also be very short and filed smooth on the edges and corners. No nail polish! Clippers and files will be available in class. With long nails you will not be able to do all of the Vitaflex and Raindrop techniques. If you cannot perform all of the techniques taught in class because of long nails, you may not receive credit for the class.
