CARE Intensive (3 or 4 Days)

Many of our Certified CARE Instructors teach all five of CARE’s premium hands-on and lecture courses. This is known as a “CARE Intensive.” Instructors with the designations CCCI, FCCI, and LCCI are authorized to teach this complete training.
What is an Intensive?

CARE Intensives are typically scheduled over 3 or 4 days and include intensive training in Raindrop, Vitaflex, Chemistry, Emotional Release, and Oils of the Bible - 25 hours in the theory and practical applications of essential oils, as well as 25 hours of continuing education for massage therapists, body workers, physical therapists, and other professionals.

Participants completing the training will:

    • Learn to Apply Useful Skills in Vitaflex
    • Learn to do Raindrop Technique
    • Learn how Essential Oils Can be Used for Emotional Releasing
CONTINUING EDUCATION CREDIT
The Center for Aromatherapy Research and Education (CARE) is approved by the National Certification Board for Therapeutic Massage and Bodywork (NCBTMB) as a Continuing Education Approved Provider. This Intensive is worth 25 CE-hours of credit through NCBTMB. The 25 Hours of Credit for this intensive are the first steps toward becoming a Certified Raindrop Technique Specialist (CRTS) through the Natural Therapies Certification Board (NTCB). Completing this intensive is also the first and basic set of requirements toward becoming a Certified CARE Instructor (CCI), should you wish to pursue a teaching career with CARE.

LIMITATIONS OF CLASS SIZE
Registrations for Raindrop and Vitaflex are limited to keep class sizes small for better hands-on attention and training. The number of participants for Raindrop and Vitaflex is limited to 10 people per CARE Instructor. Preference given to those who register for the whole 25-hour Intensive. Register early to assure yourself a place.

As for the Oils of the Bible, Chemistry, and Emotional Release classes, these are demonstration/lecture classes and there are no limitations on class size beyond the seating capacity of the room. They are all open to the public at ala carte prices, depending on preferences of the presenting CARE Instructor.

PRE-REQUISITES
CARE Vitaflex is required before taking Raindrop.

WHAT IS INCLUDED:
CCI Handbook (full registrations only), class notes, necessary oils, handouts, and a certificate acknowledging your participation in the course or courses taken are all included in seminar fees (note: no certificate issued to those taking Oils of the Bible ala carte, only full intensive registrations. Certificates are available for this class for an extra fee).

WHAT TO BRING:
Bring two (2) sheets, two (2) bath towels, and one (1) hand towel. If you would be willing to bring a massage table, please mention this when you register. You are encouraged also to bring your Bible for the Oils of the Bible class.

TEXTS: 
While there are no texts required to take the CARE classes, if you own a copy of THE CHEMISTRY OF ESSENTIAL OILS MADE SIMPLE, please bring it as it will be referred to often in the Chemistry classes. Other texts to be used include FEELINGS BURIED ALIVE, HEAL YOUR BODY, and RELEASING EMOTIONAL PATTERNS WITH ESSENTIAL OILS. Check with your CARE Instructor as these may be available for loan or purchase at the seminar. These resources are also available for purchase at CARE’s online bookstore at RaindropTraining.com.

PREPARATION:
It is a good idea to purchase the CARE DVDs/Videos on Raindrop and Vitaflex to review ahead of class in preparation for the hands-on training. Your fingernails must also be very short and filed smooth on the edges and corners. No nail polish! Clippers and files will be available in class. With long nails you will not be able to do all of the Vitaflex and Raindrop techniques. If you cannot perform all of the techniques taught in class because of long nails, you may not receive credit for the class.
