A little about me I am Debbie Young, a tiny but mighty force of Love and Kindness, a perfectly imperfect, happy hypocrite, writer of poems and raps who is a fierce advocate of and for self love, who lives it in some areas and struggles with it in others. I am a seeker of truth, a spreader of love, a looker in the mirror. I am an amazing and compassionate coach who is free to share my humanity and my divinity. I have repeatedly traversed the darkness, ascended into the unknown depths of myself and my soul and met the ugliest, most frightened parts of myself with shame, then tenderness, then compassion and have mined the most beautiful parts of myself that I wanted to hide from others and from myself. I met the parts of me that I thought were awful and useless and worthless, scrubbed off the mud, rinsed and lovingly tended them, nursed them back to life and integrated them into my being. They were my humanity, my uniqueness, my vulnerability. And it took me finally accepting the help of other healers to hold my tenderest parts with care, to point and say, “Hey, look here,” to point me to my beauty, the beauty of my soul and who I came here to be, not some unattainable, prefab idea of perfection that society tells me I need to be. THIS is who I am. I’m also an unexpected cat mom and a motherer of thousands of middle schoolers. I’m a yoga teacher and lover, a highly sensitive woman who practices daily meditation and deep reflection and keeps my nervous system calm. I am a fierce and silent advocate for and a walking example of medical freedom and bodily sovereignty. I am a walking medical and emotional miracle. I have endured many deaths, including many of my own. The deaths of all of the versions of myself that were never really me. I’m a believer in and creator of miracles. I reframed my own “rock bottom” into a solid foundation of faith, knowing deeply in my bones that even with NOTHING and NO-ONE, that I am still – and always have been – WORTHY AS FUCK. I am a phoenix who rises from the ashes over and over and over. And I’m here to help you rise from your own ashes and build your own solid foundation. To reclaim your energy, clarity and confidence to live the most authentic life of your own choosing.
