The Center for Aromatherapy Research and Education (CARE) is approved by the National Certification Board for Therapeutic Massage and Bodywork (NCBTMB) as a Continuing Education Approved Provider. This Seminar is worth 25 CE-hrs of credit through NCBTMB. The 25 Hours of Credit for this seminar are the first step toward becoming a Certified Raindrop Technique Specialist (CRTS) through the Natural Therapies Certification Board (NTCB). Completing this seminar is also the first and basic set of requirements toward becoming a Certified CARE Instructor (CCI), should you wish to pursue a teaching career with CARE.

LIMITATIONS OF CLASS SIZE
Registrations for Raindrop and Vitaflex are limited to keep class sizes small for better hands-on attention and training. The number of participants for Raindrop and Vitaflex is limited to 10 people per CARE Instructor. Preference given to those who register for the whole 25-hour Intensive. So register early to assure yourself a place.

As for the History of Anointing, Chemistry, and Emotional Release classes, these are demonstration/lecture classes and there are no limitations on class size beyond the seating capacity of the room. They are all open to the public at ala carte prices.

PRE-REQUISITES
CARE Vitaflex is required before taking Raindrop.
(Note: Vitaflex is included when you enroll for the entire 25-hr intensive)

CCI Handbook (full registrations only, repeat students $10), Class Notes, Necessary Oils, Handouts, and a Certificate acknowledging your participation in the course or courses taken are all included in seminar fees (note: no certificate issued to those taking History of Anointing ala carte, only full intensive registrations).

WHAT TO BRING
Bring two (2) sheets, two (2) bath towels and (1) hand towel OR (4) hand towels, If you would be willing to bring a massage table, please mention this when you register. You are encouraged also to bring your Bible for the History of Anointing class and any other texts listed below.

TEXTS
While there are no texts required to take the CARE classes, if you own a copy of THE CHEMISTRY OF ESSENTIAL OILS MADE SIMPLE, please bring it inasmuch as it will be referred to often in the Chemistry classes. Those without a copy of the Chemistry Book will be loaned a copy of the book to follow during class if one is available. PREPARATION
It is a good idea to purchase the CARE DVDs/Videos on Raindrop and Vitaflex to review ahead of class in preparation for the hands-on training. Your fingernails must also be very short and filed smooth on the edges and corners. Clippers and files will be available in class. With long nails you will not be able to do all of the Vitaflex and Raindrop techniques. If you cannot perform all of the techniques taught in Raindrop Technique or VitaFlex because of long nails, you will not receive credit for those two classes. (This is not an acupuncture event 🙂 )

Karen Birdsall, FCCI, MT, BCTMB

Karen has been a member of Young Living Essential Oils since 2010.  Being skeptical of essential oils and their “snake oil” reputation, Karen was hesitant to join any essential oil company.  After much research and learning the chemistry behind essential oils, she wanted to teach others the value of the essential oils and became a Fully Certified CARE Instructor in 2016.  She continues to teach the chemistry of essential oils and emotional release along with teaching modalities such as Raindrop Technique and VitaFlex allowing massage therapists add more value to the work they do in their practices.  She also teaches families how to use this training to benefit each other in being healthy.

Karen is a Board Certified Massage Therapist and has been doing body work for the past 14 years.  She has given her clients Raindrop Technique with great success in relaxation, cellular wellbeing, and emotional support.

Rebecca Person, CCI, LSLC, CRTS, CNHP, Minister, Universal Life Church

Beckie has been a member of Young Living Essential Oils since 2015 and has been learning all she can get her hands on since then.  When it comes to holistic healing practices Beckie loves to help people help themselves. Beckie has been attuned to first and second degree Usui Reiki since April, 2017 and is recognized as a Board Certified CARE Instructor.

Beckie has been working towards Supervising CARE Instructor, and is an Aromatherapy Coach. Married for 38 years, has three children Tara (36), Tina (27) and Hunter (23). She and her husband own a little shop in which crafters display and sell their crafts and handmade products in downtown Devils Lake ND. This is also where she has her practice.  Beckie works full time as a Property Manager overseeing 123 properties in Devils Lake for LaMotte’s Paint & Flooring/LaMotte Properties.  She has been with LaMotte’s for 30 years.
