Last year (2014) my wife, Lee, and I spent 10 weeks at the Nova Vita Clinic on the Young Living Farm near Guayaquil, Ecuador. She had been diagnosed with Stage IV cancer that had begun in her right breast and had metastasized to her lungs, liver, and lymphatic system. The doctors said she probably had only 4-5 months to live, but were pushing the idea of an immediate masectomy accompanied with chemotherapy, etc. Instead Lee chose to avoid all of that and go to the Nova Vita Clinic in Ecuador instead. There they use only natural, non-toxic means to deal with cancer.

Today, a year later, she is alive and well with no trace of malignancy. The Vol. 12, No. 2, (Jul-Aug-Sep) Summer 2014 issue of The Raindrop Messenger details her protocols that overcame cancer while in Ecuador.
In this article, I want to mention how to contact Nova Vita and to describe another unexpected healing that took place in Ecuador, during Lee’s residence there, while I was her roommate and 24/7 caretaker.

HOW TO CONTACT NOVA VITA

Nova Vita will not accept cancer patients who have already undergone chemotherapy, radiation, or surgery and are hesitant to accept cancer patients who have had a biopsy, since biopsies can spread cancer and can cause other serious complications. Many Nova VIta patients have be cured of cancer, but they cannot heal the damages of allopathic therapies. The Nova Vita therapies are all designed to strengthen your immune system so you actually fight off cancer by your own powers. If your immune system has been irreparably damaged by chemo or radiation, the very thing you need for their therapies to work has been destroyed.

Neither can they guarantee that you will be healed by what they do. There are factors beyond their control, such as your attitudes and emotions, that may underlie your sickness and which they may not be able to reach. Lee’s success has been also attributed to her constant prayers and affirmations that she would be healed, not to mention the thousands of prayers given from people all over the world on her behalf.

To experience success in overcoming cancer, the patient must constantly maintain a positive frame of mind and hold on to a belief in what they are receiving. Patients that give up and cannot believe anything will heal them usually die. Patients that believe in the therapies they receive to free them of cancer, usually get well.

To go there, you must apply, answer some questions, and send them whatever medical records they request, in order for them to consider whether you are a good candidate for their services or not. They are a small facility and can only accept a limited number of in-house patients. You may have to go on a list and wait for an opening. The clinic also has a good number of day patients who live in Ecuador or who come, stay in a Guayaquil Hotel, and commute to the clinic every day for treatments.

Their contact information is as follows:

HABLA USTED ESPANOL?
Most of the staff at Nova Vita speak only Spanish, so take your Spanish/English dictionary with you. Only a couple members of the staff speak fluent English, and several can understand or speak a little English, but most speak Spanish only. In the summer of 2014, Gary Young instructed all of the staff there to start studying and learning English, but that may take a few years.

If you are a truly sick person that will require a lot of daily therapies and attention, take a friend to be your caretaker. The $3-5000 per week charged varies according to the number and types of therapies received. The charges also include allowing the patient to share the room with a friend or relative as a caretaker, and provides all of their food. There is no extra charge for a caretaker to accompany you, and they encourage it. In some cases, they may require it. If your caretaker speaks Spanish, that is all the better.

I served as Lee’s caretaker and translator, and it was pretty much a full-time job. I knew enough Spanish to do simple translations for her and get by, with the help of an English-Spanish Dictionary. I also had a couple of Spanish books for English speaking people, which I actually bought after I got down there. They were very helpful. If you already have a general knowledge of Spanish, a few weeks at Nova Vita is a great opportunity to improve your language skills, and you can help them to learn English, too.

AN AMAZING BONUS: DIABETES DISAPPEARS

I was not a patient at Nova Vita. I did not receive any therapies during the last two months I was there. I was there just to be Lee’s caretaker. But I did eat the diet she ate and did a lot of walking every day, mainly up and down stairways and running errands for Lee, since she was fairly immobile because of the intravenous oils and vitamins administered throughout the day, around the clock.

Abour two years ago (Summer of 2012) my blood sugar was found to be extremely high, almost 300, and I was diagnosed with diabetes. It runs in my family. The doctors wanted me to take insulin injections daily (Lantis(R)), which I did for a short time of a few weeks. But then I said, “No. I am not going to do insulin every day for the rest of my life.” So the doctor prescribed Metformin-500 tablets for me, two tablets per day, which regulates blood sugar. It worked. I tested my blood sugar every day and it was kept in the normal range of 80-120 by the Metformin. After a few months, I cut it down to one tablet a day and only took a second tablet if I my blood sugar tested high.

While at the clinic in Ecuador, I ran out of Metformin and it was several days before I could get to town and purchase some more. In Ecuador, Metformin is not a prescription drug. It is an over-the-counter medication and easy for anyone to buy.

Anyhow, during those few days I took no Metformin, and much to my amazement, my blood sugar was normal, despite eating lots of fresh sweet fruit and starches. So when I finally got the Metformin, I didn’t take it. It didn’t seem necessary. I would test my blood sugar each day, and if it was normal, I skipped the Metformin. The last few weeks I was there, I only took Metformin a couple times on days when I had “sinned” badly and eaten too much of something sugary, like a lot of honey on crackers.

An amazing thing is that every day we were served white rice and white potatoes, sometimes twice a day. These starchy foods metabolize into glucose and would normally have raised my blood sugar to high levels. However, in Ecuador, for the duration of our stay, I was able to eat daily quantities of these starches with no elevation in my blood sugar levels and without medication. It was a mystery and a paradox. All I know, is that now I don’t have to worry about eating rice or potatoes too often, as before.

Among the foods that we did not eat were things like corn, chocolate, and high-gluten wheat products. There were no fried foods at all. There were no waffles and pancakes or sweet syrups. In fact, we were not served wheat products in any form, but were given quinoa daily, in several forms, usually for breakfast, but also for later meals as well. Most of the time, breakfast was served with a poached egg, and no salt. Our meat was restricted to broiled chicken and fresh tilapia fish. We also ate daily portions of fresh vegetables, served raw or lightly cooked, such as red, yellow, and green bell peppers, cabbage, broccoli, asparagus, tomatoes, and spinach all gathered from the organic garden next to the clinic. We occasionally had fresh Papaya and mangos, but also had fresh watermelon or watermelon juice almost every day. These fruits are all high in natural sugar.

Basically, as of my stay at the Nova Vita Clinic, I am not a diabetic any more, although I do still have to be careful what I eat and drink. I check my blood sugar daily to make sure everything is okay and only take a Metformin tablet if one is indicated, which is hardly ever. If I was well behaved all the time, and never over indulged in sweet things, I would never need Metformin at all.

For the last year or so, I have been taking several natural products that keep my blood sugar down. I take two capsules daily of powdered Cassia Bark under the brand name of “CinnaPure.” Cassia is a species related to Cinnamon and is one of the ingredients of the Holy Anointing Oil mentioned in the Bible (Exodus 30:22-31). I also take two capsules daily of Barberry Root under the brand name of “Berberine.” And take two capsules daily of a blend of several herbs under the name of “Complete Glucose Support,” formulated by Leigh Erin Connealy, MD. All of these are available on various websites via the internet, which you can Google(R).

Like all man-made drugs and pharmaceuticals, taking Metformin is not without side effects. Different people have different reactions. Some have digestive difficulties. For me, I could not sense if anything was wrong, but my live blood cell tests in Ecuador showed a Vitamin B deficiency indicated by a visual deformity in the shapes of my red blood cells. I knew that Metformin inhibited Vitamin B absorption, and so there was the proof of Metformin’s deleterious effects right on the screen. Since then I take daily doses (3-6 tablets) of Young Living’s “Super B.”

Now I rarely take Metformin (only when I am indiscrete in my eating) and am no longer considered a diabetic. I don’t know exactly to what I can attribute this wonderful change in my sugar metabolism while in Ecuador. Was it the monotonous diet of potatoes, rice, and quinua? Was it the complete absence of French fries, white bread, potato chips, Twinkies, donuts, ice cream, soda pop, and chocolate bars for two months? I don’t know.

I have been off of the Nova Vita diet for eight months now and my blood sugar is still normal without taking Metformin. Maybe it was the calm and peaceful atmosphere on the Young Living Farm. Maybe it was the Love Factor, the wonderfully kind and loving attitudes of the Nova VIta staff that showered Lee and I with their concern and affection every day. All I know is that I am no longer diabetic, and it was cured while I was at Nova Vita, a truly amazing bonus for our stay, and I wasn’t even a patient receiving treatments.

2. INSIGHT ON TRANSFORMATION® OIL BLEND
by D. Gary Young

Lemon and Rosemary are in our Transformation® oil blend.

Why would I include lemon? Because lemon is a blood and liver cleanser. It builds leukocytes and helps support the immune system. If your immune system is strong and you’re resisting disease, then you feel stronger physically to go through transformational changes.

Rosemary is a stabilizer, a balancer; it’s like an anchor and it’s really great for improving and enhancing digestive ability.

When you’re going through transformation, somebody might share a new idea with you, and you might think, “Oh, I can’t quite swallow that.” Do you know what happens when you say, “I can’t quite swallow that” or “I don’t know if I can digest that”? You literally shut down your digestive system. Your digestive enzymes and secretions just shut down. So when you’re going through a transformation, don’t say, “I can’t digest it” or “I can’t swallow it,” or you are not going to transform.

Rosemary’s there to help improve your digestion, so when those new ideas come, say, “Wow, I’ll take one more sniff of Transformation, and I think I can handle that idea.”

It just gets you in a better space for looking at new ideas. Many of you may be saying, “I can’t build a business; I don’t know how to go out and talk to people.” Unless you are unable to speak, you can talk to people. All you have to do is get excited.

When you’re excited about something, you can’t wait to share it with somebody. But when you’re depressed, you don’t have that excitement, so you need to move out of that space.

Be excited! Transform your life now and move into great, new dimensions!

NOTE:
Transformation Oil Blend is Young Living item #3060, which comes in a 15 ml bottle.
